Day 01
International Airport / Delhi ( Arrival late evening )
Upon arrival, transfer and overnight at the hotel
Day 02
Delhi / Bagdogra ( Flight ) / Darjeeling
Early breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport and leave by flight for Bagdogra. Upon arrival, continue by road to Darjeeling and arrive in time for a late lunch at the hotel. In the late afternoon, walking tour of the Darjeeling market. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 03
Darjeeling
AT DAWN, leave for Tiger Hill to witness a superb sunrise over the Himalayan Mountain range and Mount Kanchenjunga. Thereafter walk down the hill and visit the GHOOM monastery. Return to the hotel for a late breakfast and then visit the town and neighbouring regions of Darjeeling. Lunch at the hotel and afternoon visit a tea plantation. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 04
Darjeeling / Gangtok
Early breakfast at the hotel and leave for Gangtok. Stop for lunch entroute. Arrive Gangtok in the afternoon and visit the ENCHEY monastery and the town of Gangtok. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 05
Gangtok
Breakfast at the hotel, and thereafter leave for the sightseeing of the monasteries of PHODONG and LABRANG. Return to the hotel for lunch. Afternoon visit the monastery of RUMTEK. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 06
Gangtok / Kalimpong
Breakfast at the hotel and then leave for Kalimpong and arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon, visit the town and the monastery of Kalimpong, and the orchid nurseries ( there are 300 species of orchids in the Kalimpong region ). Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 07
Kalimpong / Phuentsholing
Early breakfast at the hotel, and leave for Phuentsholing at the frontier between Bhutan and India. Lunch enroute. Arrive Phuentsholing late in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 08
Phuentsholing / Thimphu
Breakfast at the hotel, and leave for Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. Lunch enroute. Arrive Thimphu late in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 09
Thimphu
Breakfast at the hotel, and then leave for a full day sightseeing of the valley of Thimphu. Visit the impressive National library, the Zorig Chusum Institute. Thereafter, a walking tour in the city to visit the handicrafts quarter. Lunch in a local restaurant. Late afternoon, visit the Taschicho Dzong ( monastery ). Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 10
Thimphu / Punakha
Breakfast at the hotel and thereafter leave for for Punakha. The road to Punakha goes over the Dochu La pass which is at over an altitude of 3000 meters. There is a spectacular view of the Wangdi Phodrang range of mountains. Lunch enroute. At Punakha, visit the monastery which has a strategic outlook over the rivers Pho Chu and Mo Chu since 1637. The monastery was beautifully restored after it was seriously damaged in an earthquake and a fire. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 11
Punakha / Wangdi / Paro
Breakfast at the hotel and then visit the village of Wangdi Phodrang at an altitude of 1300 metres, situated in a valley well known for its handicrafts work of bamboo, stone and slate. Also visit the monastery which overlooks Wangdi. Lunch in a local restaurant. Continue to Paro and arrive in the evening. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 12
Paro
Breakfast at the hotel and thereafter full day sightseeing of the town and monastery of Paro. Lunch in a local restaurant. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 13
Paro / Delhi( Flight ) / International Airport

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport and leave by flight for Delhi. Upon arrival, lunch in a local restaurant and transport at disposal to visit the bazaars of New Delhi. Dinner in a local restaurant and thereafter transfer to the international airport.
*** A room will be made available at a hotel for a quick wash and change before leaving for the airport.
